About Lake club rush
This ornamental sedge is often sold as a plant for water gardens and ponds. Growing in wet conditions and is fund in the wild in both freshwater and brakish conditions. Dense stands of many narrow erect dark green stems reaching 1 to sometimes 3 m in height. Like any wetland species in ponds they are valuable because they maintains low water temperatures by providing shade and also providing suitable habitat for aquatic creatures.
