Invite us over

With nature all around us, the best classroom is not far away.

We can take your class outside to the bush to learn about why it's so important and experience it first hand. If heading outside doesn't suit you we can take the bush to you (well some of it at least!).

We’ll talk with you about the local environment, Miramar's natural history and the work we at Te Motu Kairangi - Miramar Ecological restoration do to restore the variety of life that was here before humans and furry critters arrived.

We are happy to present to teachers or get involved in the classroom with students. We can also help schools identify their native plant areas, plan where and how to plant natives and point out invasive weeds.
