About Bog rush
A Rush-like sedge growing up to a 1 m tall with rather variable coloration and stature, ranging from stout dark purple red individuals to bright green‹ Flowers on the sedge are small, reddish purple, located on the ends of the leaf. Often seen damp areas around cliff faces, swamps and in seepages within bush. Prefers a well drained, but damp soil in full sun.
Ideal mass planted in wetland areas, but work well as a border plant or even in a pot.
